Speed, Scale, Synchronisation: How HPCL Is Powering Uninterrupted Energy Supply Across India

HPCL Announces Signing of a PNG Gas Sales Agreement with Invertis University, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh)

Bareilly / Lucknow, April 24, 2026: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) continues to strengthen India’s energy delivery ecosystem through a coordinated system driven by speed, scale, and synchronisation, ensuring uninterrupted supply even as demand evolves across regions.

Between 1st and 23rd April 2026, HPCL delivered over 290 lakh LPG cylinders nationwide, supported by a responsive, technology-driven supply chain.

Scale: Meeting India’s Energy Needs

HPCL’s nationwide network continues to operate at significant scale, ensuring seamless supply across urban and rural markets alike.

The growing demand for flexible energy solutions is evident, with over 6.18 lakh Free Trade LPG cylinders of 5 Kg and over 25,000 cylinders of 2 Kg supplied—expanding access to clean fuel across diverse consumer segments.

Speed: Accelerating Delivery Cycles

To keep pace with rising demand, HPCL has intensified its operations, supported by the dispatch of over 1,77,693 tankers during this period.

With 99.2% of LPG bookings now digital, the Company is able to process requests in real time—enabling faster allocation, improved route planning, and quicker deliveries.

Synchronisation: Seamless End-to-End Execution

HPCL’s strength lies in its ability to operate as a synchronised system—where digital platforms, supply infrastructure, and frontline teams work in unison to ensure timely delivery.

This integrated approach ensures uninterrupted movement across the supply chain, even during peak demand cycles.

Expanding Institutional Access: Lucknow & Bareilly

HPCL continues to expand access to cleaner fuels through strategic partnerships in the PNG segment.

HPCL is delighted to announce the signing of a PNG Gas Sales Agreement with Invertis University, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), in line with the vision of MoPNG and PNGRB.

Formalised in the presence of Dr. Umesh Gautam, Hon’ble Mayor, Bareilly, this initiative will ensure reliable PNG supply to campus canteens, benefiting over 1,500 hostel students and residents with a safer and more efficient energy solution.

This partnership reflects HPCL’s continued commitment to expanding clean energy access across institutions—powering young minds with safe, sustainable fuel while supporting a greener, future-ready ecosystem.

Discipline: Strengthening System Reliability
